Fuel Contamination

Diesel fuel quality breaks down every time it is handled!

Follow Your Fuels Path..............

Oil Well

Your fuels journey begins here by being extracted at the oil well.

Cargo Ship

Cargo ships then transport the oil from the well to a refinery for process.

Refinery

At the refinery the oil is processed and turned into the fuel

Pipeline

The fuel is then ran through miles of pipelines.

Pipeline Storage

Eventually reaching a temporary resting place at a pipeline storage unit awaiting the transport trucks.

Delivery Truck

The delivery trucks then take the fuel to its location, weather it be directly to your storage tank on property or the gas station tanks.

Storage Tank

Your fuel then sits in this storage tank until it is used. If the storage tank is already growing microbes (which it is if it has not been cleaned) your fuel is now introduced to this as well.

Equipment

Weather your fuel is being used to power a backup generator or it is being used to fill equipment / trucks, it is your job to make sure you are not setting your equipment up for failure. Make sure you are cleaning and treating your fuel!

Other forms of Contamination

The following all play a part in the breakdown and contamination of your fuel as well

  • Condensation 💦
  • Heat 🌡
  • Inclement Weather ⛈
  • Biodiesel  ⛽️

Cleaning / Treating

Make sure you are cleaning and treating your fuel! This is where DFM can come in and restore your fuel to better quality than before it arrived to your location. Make sure you are prepare! Put your trust in the experts
